ABOUT THE WORK
“Arctic” is a powerful artwork featuring a burned canvas in which soft, warm light streams through. The light symbolizes the Earth’s core piercing through its fragile surroundings, reflecting the planet’s vulnerability. The composition invites viewers to connect the delicate beauty of the Earth’s core with their own inner core, emphasizing that as we destroy the world around us, we ultimately destroy ourselves.
