Elsewhere explores the complexity of shared moments and the invisible worlds we carry within ourselves.
Two women exist side by side, sharing the same space and moment, yet their heads fade in different ways, reflecting the separate worlds unfolding within their minds.
The piece explores how three experiences can exist simultaneously: the moment two people share, and the two entirely different realities unfolding within each of them. While we may be physically together, our thoughts, memories and emotions can take us somewhere else entirely.
Elsewhere reflects on the quiet distance that can exist within closeness, and how even the moments we experience together are never experienced in quite the same way.
